Low-temperature specific heat and thermal conductivity measurements have been performed on (CSO)(0.14)(B2O3)(0).(86) glass in the temperature range from 1.5K to 30K. The caesium ions, weakly bonded to the B-O framework, are able of low-frequency local oscillations and affect the vibrational dynamics in the region of the boson peak. A resonant scattering mechanism between heat carrying acoustic phonons and caesium local modes does not appear to influence the plateau in the thermal conductivity.
