A computerised information support for a day hospital. The daily job of the doctors, because of the large amount of information needed, requires sophisticated tools able to treat a big set of data in a quick and secure way. the use of computers in the medical field can help both in collecting interesting data and in retieving the useful ones when it is necessary. This is particularly true in a University Hospital where both the jealthcare activity and the teaching activity are carried out. The aim of our work is the automation of the information processing for a day hospital. The main features of AIDAH are: a facilitated input of data by means of the ORACLE forms applications, the possibility of making queries on line to the database and the adherence to the natural way by which doctors collect and treat information in an oncologic day hospital service.

Abstract
A computerised information support for a day hospital. The daily job of the doctors, because of the large amount of information needed, requires sophisticated tools able to treat a big set of data in a quick and secure way. the use of computers in the medical field can help both in collecting interesting data and in retieving the useful ones when it is necessary. This is particularly true in a University Hospital where both the jealthcare activity and the teaching activity are carried out. The aim of our work is the automation of the information processing for a day hospital. The main features of AIDAH are: a facilitated input of data by means of the ORACLE forms applications, the possibility of making queries on line to the database and the adherence to the natural way by which doctors collect and treat information in an oncologic day hospital service.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
