Geomemories Project aims to georeference and mosaic the images, thus making them displayable in a 4D environment via a Web 2.0 mashup application based on a Google Earth plugin. To date, a beta version of the www.geomemories.org website has been published; inside the user could find some images dating from the 40?s and 50?s years. The expected result will be a sort of Geographical Atlas, filled with geographic-historical layers made with both open archives and social contribution
