The cephalaspidean Haminaea callidegenita Gibson and Chia, 1989, described from the Pacific ocean, is recorded for the first time in localities outside that ocean: Atlantic and Mediterranean European shores. The introduction of marine mollusks for commercial culture in these areas is the most likely reason explaining the presence of this species in the European coasts.

Abstract
The cephalaspidean Haminaea callidegenita Gibson and Chia, 1989, described from the Pacific ocean, is recorded for the first time in localities outside that ocean: Atlantic and Mediterranean European shores. The introduction of marine mollusks for commercial culture in these areas is the most likely reason explaining the presence of this species in the European coasts.File in questo prodotto:
