Abstract
The main features of the application of the pure-quantum self-consistent harmonic approximation (PQSCHA) to the study of two-dimensional (2d) magnetic systems are briefly reviewed; particular attention is given to how the symmetry of the system affects the actual implementation of the method. Detailed results for the 2d Heisenberg antiferromagnet (HAF) are shown and compared with experimental data and theoretical results from different approaches.File in questo prodotto:
