Human genomic DNA of patients originating from Southern Italy. We found a variant of the beta-globin gene polymorphism frameworks, i.e. non-random association of six single base variations, two of which constitute an AvaIl (IVS-2-16 C -G) and a BamHI (about 8 kb 3'(l) RFLPs (1). The framework variant is characterized by the presence [+ +] of both RFLPs and by C, C and T at codon 2, IVS-2-81 and IVS-2 -666, respectively, as in framework 1; by T at IVS-2-74, as in framework 2 and 3.

Abstract
Human genomic DNA of patients originating from Southern Italy. We found a variant of the beta-globin gene polymorphism frameworks, i.e. non-random association of six single base variations, two of which constitute an AvaIl (IVS-2-16 C -G) and a BamHI (about 8 kb 3'(l) RFLPs (1). The framework variant is characterized by the presence [+ +] of both RFLPs and by C, C and T at codon 2, IVS-2-81 and IVS-2 -666, respectively, as in framework 1; by T at IVS-2-74, as in framework 2 and 3.File in questo prodotto:
