We studied the dynamic of potentially aquaculture pathogenic Vibrio in the Mar Piccolo of Taranto where many mussel farm plants are located. Our results evidenced the presence of Vibrio alginolyticus, V. anguillarum, V. harveyi, V. ordalii, V. salmonicida and V. vulnificus. Particularly, V. ordalii and V. salmonicida reached the highest percentage of isolation in the autumn-winter period, while all the other species reached the maximum in the spring-summer seasons

Abstract
We studied the dynamic of potentially aquaculture pathogenic Vibrio in the Mar Piccolo of Taranto where many mussel farm plants are located. Our results evidenced the presence of Vibrio alginolyticus, V. anguillarum, V. harveyi, V. ordalii, V. salmonicida and V. vulnificus. Particularly, V. ordalii and V. salmonicida reached the highest percentage of isolation in the autumn-winter period, while all the other species reached the maximum in the spring-summer seasonsFile in questo prodotto:
