The title compound, [Re(C18H15NP)2(C2H5O)O], was synthesized by the oxidation-substitution reaction of [Re(III)(PNH)2(PNH2)]Cl, where PNH2 is 2-(diphenylphosphino)phenylamine, with NEt3 in EtOH. The X-ray diffraction study of this new triclinic phase, designated beta, confirms the molecular structural details for the monoclinic a isomer, which crystallized in space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.056 (3), b = 26.303 (6), c = 11.005 (3) angstrom, beta = 102.32 (2)-degrees.
