This chapter investigates the research issues arising by the quest toward a lan- guage framework, capable of supporting the user in specifying and refining mining objectives, combining multiple strategies, and defining the quality of the extracted knowledge in the specific context of movement data. As a step in this direction, the chapter concentrates on requirements and open issues of a language framework that serves as interface between the analyst and the underlying computational support - trying to bridge the gap from analytical questions and the complexity of the KDD process.

Abstract
This chapter investigates the research issues arising by the quest toward a lan- guage framework, capable of supporting the user in specifying and refining mining objectives, combining multiple strategies, and defining the quality of the extracted knowledge in the specific context of movement data. As a step in this direction, the chapter concentrates on requirements and open issues of a language framework that serves as interface between the analyst and the underlying computational support - trying to bridge the gap from analytical questions and the complexity of the KDD process.File in questo prodotto:
