Do Italian speakers deaccent given information? In this study we examined word tokens repeatedly mentioning the same entity within a task-oriented dialogue. Contrary to what is expected in Germanic languages, results show that the vast majority of the repeated mentions are accented irrespective of their being hearer/discourse given or discourse segment given .

Please inform your co-author(s), if any. The competition has been extremely hard since we received 80 submissions and can only accommodate about 30 papers in the two days workshop, i.e. less than 40% of the submitted papers could be accepted. Each submission has been sent to three reviewers and evaluated on a scale from 1 (bottom) to 5 (top). Please find attached the reviewers' comments, if any. Only papers with an average score of at least 4 have been accepted.
