Twenty species of terrestrial isopods from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Sudan, Djibouti and Iran are recorded. Two species, Littorophiloscia strouhali from Sudan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and Periscyphis omanensis from Oman, are described as new. Seven species [Ligia pigmentata Jackson, 1922, Olibrinus sp., Agabiformius obtusus (Budde-Lund, 1909), Proporcellio quadriseriatus Verhoeff, 1917, Porcellio laevis Latreille, 1804, Armadillidium vulgare (Latreille, 1804), and Cubaris murina Brandt, 1833] are newly recorded from the Arabian Peninsula. Two poorly known species, Ligia pigmentata and Tylos maindroni Giordani Soika, 1954, are discussed and illustrated. The total number of species of terrestrial isopods from the Arabian Peninsula is now 32.

Abstract
The total number of species of terrestrial isopods from the Arabian Peninsula is now 32.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
