Maina mai ninte: Aspetti contraddittori nella cultura ligure del mare attraverso motti, fraseologia idiomatica e proverbi

Each idiom, by definition, contains two truths: the first is the literal, which refers to the real life of the sea and on the sea, the other is the metaphorical truth, the one that is formed by the real experience and carried out on different life layers with the aim of teaching, judging or giving moral directives. The objective of the article is to show the characteristics of the phraseology related to the sea and trades in the Ligurian area investigating on some topoi of the life on the sea or on the shore are often expressed by idiomatic formations, sometimes contradictory.

Ogni espressione idiomatica, per antonomasia, contiene due verità: la prima è quella letterale, che si riferisce alla vita vera del mare e sul mare, l'altra è la verità metaforica, quella che prende spunto dall'esperienza reale e la trasporta su piani diversi per insegnare, giudicare o dare direttive morali. Obiettivo dell'articolo è mostrare le caratteristiche della fraseologia relativa al mare e ai mestieri sul mare in area ligure indagando su cui alcuni topoi della vita in riva al mare o sul mare esplicitati attraverso formazioni idiomatiche spesso contraddittorie.
