The flow induced by the breaking of free surface waves is numerically investigated through a two-fluids Navier-Stokes solver. The study, limited to two-dimensional flows, is focussed at analysing the changes induced by the breaking intensity on bubble entrainment, generation of vorticity and energy dissipation.
