The strain path effects on the austenitic stainless steel AISI 316L at high temperature were discussed. The equivalent strain delay of dynamic recrystallization after torsion reversal with respect to monotonic deformation was also described. It was observed that the constitutive behaviour of the stainless steel AISI 316L deformed at 1000° C causing a stress reduction with respect to the monotonic deformation.

Abstract

The strain path effects on the austenitic stainless steel AISI 316L at high temperature were discussed.
