Enantiopure aryl benzyl sulfoxides were easily obtained by an enantioselective oxidation of the corresponding sulfides with tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of a complex between titanium and (S, S)-or (R, R)-hydrobenzoin. Abstract
