In this chapter, the techniques used for investigating the Dilational Rheology of adsorbed layers at liquid interfaces are reviewed. The field of applicability as well as the principal criticisms of the various techniques are underlined which depend on the nature of the investigated systems and on the dynamic characteristics to be evidenced.
