Abstract
A new system, for transmitting optics in laserDoppler anemometry, has been developed in order to measuresimultaneously the velocity in two different points. With this apparatus it is possible to determine the spatialvelocity correlations and to verify the Taylor's hypothesisof the frozen turbulence. The experimental resultshows that the values of the spatial correlationsobtained with Taylor's hypothesis are generally greaterthan those obtained by a direct measurement.File in questo prodotto:
