A structural study on two series of polymeric systems is presented. From these preliminary data are derived unit cell parameters and space group symmetry; using a reasonable model, which implies backbone-planarity and extended side chain conformation, a greater interdigitation among alky-chains for polythienylenevinylene class is inferred.
