Abstract
In Mesopotamia, in the age when the kingdom of babylon, after an uncertain beginning, takes on definitively the role of principal power even if still at a regional level, theprocesses for the exaltation of the royal figure following military victories are not very clear. The assumption of power over the whole region by the sovereigns of the First babylonian Dynasty would certainly have involved the elaboration of a celebratory apparatus in honor not only of the personal gifts and prowness of the prince, but also of his absolute respect for the divine laws.File in questo prodotto:
