During the spring of 1998 an experimental campaign was carried out in the Arctic, in the frame of the international ARTIST program. Radiation and turbulence data were collected to characterise the meteorological conditions of the site and to study the exchange of heat in the arctic PBL. The analysis of the radiation data allowed to calculate the surface radiation budget of the shortwave, longwave and net radiation components. Using the temperature data at various depths into the snow, the subsurface heat flux was estimated. Through a preliminary elaboration of the wind components and air temperature data, all covariance terms have been obtained, including momentum and heat fluxes. From the analysis of the turbulent and subsurface heat fluxes, and from calculation of the surface radiation budget, the partition of the solar radiation the surface was estimated.

Abstract
From the analysis of the turbulent and subsurface heat fluxes, and from calculation of the surface radiation budget, the partition of the solar radiation the surface was estimated.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
