We calculate the frequency and momentum dependence of magnetic excitations as arising from striped ground states. Our investigations are based on the time-dependent Gutzwiller approximation of the two-dimensional Hubbard model and allow for quantitative predictions for the doping dependence of the magnetic susceptibility in La-based cuprate superconductors.
