The GASCOD/A4pi instrument is a spectroradiometer designed to operate in the 300-800 nm spectral region. An optical system selects the monochromator input between five channels: one for zenith scattered solar radiation (for DOAS measurement), two for diffused radiation through two side windows and another two for radiometric measurements through two 2pi-optical heads. Mounting the instrument upon an aircraft the last two channels make it possible to perform upward and downward irradiance measurements and consequently to compute photodissociation coefficients (J-values). The GASCOD/A4pi has recently been installed on board the MS5-GEOPHYSICA airplane, a stratospheric research platform capable of flying at altitudes of up to 20 Km and it performed measurements during the APE-GAIA campaign that took place in Argentina (Ushuaia) in September-October 1999. The instrument as well as the elaboration method will be described and some results for DOAS measurements presented.

Abstract
The instrument as well as the elaboration method will be described and some results for DOAS measurements presented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
