Abstract
Physical characterization including thermal, elastic, and electrical properties of talc-filled polypropylene composites is studied. The Young's modulus of composites measured through rebound tests was found to be temperature dependent. Resilience measured by impact tests increases with both temperature and talc concentration. The observed volume resistivity showed that the material possesses a small level of electrical conductivity which depends slightly on temperature. The activation energy for the thermally electrical conduction process was determinedFile in questo prodotto:
