The reflectivity spectra of Cd1-xFexSe (x = 0.00, 0.10, 0.15) in the 4 - 10 eV energy range have been studied. A two step blurring of the CdFeSe reflectivity spectra features were observed. Above results inform about a stronger interaction between Se 4p and Fe 3d then Cd 5p and Fe 3d orbitals and therefore it is expected an additional feature near the top of the valence band maximum (VBM) in the valence band density of states (DOS).
