La présence d'Osmundea oederi (Gunnerus) G. Furnari comb. nov. est signalée pour la première fois en Méditerranée dans le Golfe de Tarante (Italie). O. oederi est comparé avec O. truncata, espèce morphologiquement voisine, et avec d'autres espèces d'Osmundea prèsentes en Méditerranée et pourvues de thalles comprimés et de synapses secondaires entre les cellules de l'épiderme. Abstract
