The melt-spinning technique was employed to produce amorphous bands of the two compositions, namely 50% Ti-50%Cu and 52% Ti-48%Cu, whose crystallization was thereafter studied. Processes that occur during the heating of those amorphous alloys were investigated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and specific electrical resistivity measurements. It was shown that an increased content of titanium in the eutectic mixture 50% Ti-50%Cu results in a smaller degree of amorphous of this alloy.

Abstract
The melt-spinning technique was employed to produce amorphous bands of the two compositions, namely 50% Ti-50%Cu and 52% Ti-48%Cu, whose crystallization was thereafter studied. Processes that occur during the heating of those amorphous alloys were investigated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and specific electrical resistivity measurements. It was shown that an increased content of titanium in the eutectic mixture 50% Ti-50%Cu results in a smaller degree of amorphous of this alloy.File in questo prodotto:
