The paper describes the results of analyses conducted by using the NOSA code on a circular masonry arch. First the structure is subjected to its own weight and sinusoidal accelerations of variable frequency. Then, the behaviour of the arch subjected to an accelerogram recorded during a real earthquake is investigated. The different results obtained using nonlinear and linear constitutive equations are compared.
