Chemical studies of three Hypselodoris species from distinct geographical areas are reported. A new furanosesquiterpenoid, (+)-(6R,11R)-9,10-dehydrofurodysinin [6], was isolated from H. webbi from Spanish coasts and its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic data and confirmed by chemical reduction to (-)-(6R,11R)-furodysinin.
