This document reports the activities and the tests that have been carried out in partial fulfilling of the sub agreement for "Validation of HPC/CFD-Based Variable-Physics Global Optimization for Waterjet Propelled High Speed Delft-Monohull", P.O. 1000705389, Req. ID No. W000132322, G/P No. 1 48099 00 01, C.F.D.A. No. 12.300. The full activity is founded by the Office of Naval Research. The Delft Catamaran project 372 was used as a basic hull shape form and a model was designed, manufactured and tested by Bulgarian Ship Hydrodynamics Centre (BSHC). Results were reported on Doc. KP092996/01-Rev. 0 (BSHC ref). Then the whole equipment was shipped to CNR-INSEAN in Rome (August 2010). Having in mind that the main goal of the present sub agreement is to produce a highly accurate set of EFD data to be used in the optimization field, the model has been used at INSEAN for the waterjet-equipped catamaran model performance testing, in compliance with the ITTC Waterjet Model Testing procedures 7.5- 02-05-03.1. A full comparison with BSHC data is reported: accordance and disagreement between the two data sets are discussed and commented.
