The Authors studied the terrestrial isopods collected by the Mission P.L.G. Benoit -J.J. Van Mol 1972 at the Seychelles. They re-examined the materials of the British Museum (Nat. Hist.) and of the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm. 34 species are listed: one family, two genera, ten species are new; the synonymy Anomaloniscus seychellarum Verh. = Alloniscus ovatus (Dollfus) is established; many species are re-described. The composition and origin of the isopodan fauna of the Seychelles are discussed.
