Observations of Titan atmosphere made with the VIMS instrument on board the Cassini satellite show a strong limb emission around 3.3 ?m at high atmospheric altitudes (above 700 km). This emission exhibits the spectral signatures of the strong CH4 bands. A detailed analysis of the spectra reveals an additional strong emission centered at 3.28 ?m and peaking at about 950 km. Here we present an analysis of this residual spectra and show that it attributed to emission from heavy aromatic hydrocarbon compounds.
