In this paper the realization is described of C02 laser with high energy (~ 10 J/pulse), long pulses (~ 2 ~s) and narrow bandwidth (~ 200 kHz), using suitable discharge device (Lumonics 602) and cavity configuration (modified self-filtering unstable resonator).
