Abstract
Five membered ring nitrogen and sulfur heterocycles joined by trans-ethylenic double bonds show donor properties towards iodine and TCNQ: those with terminal pyrrole rings can be oxidized to poly-ionic polymers which, at variance with polypyrrole, show low conductivities. Instead, the polymer poly(2,5-thienylene-1,2-vinylene-N-methylpyrrole-2,5-diyl-1,2-vinylene) can be doped with iodine to a material with good conductivity (2.3 S cm -1)File in questo prodotto:
