The kinetics of dehydrogenation of cyclohexane over Pt (0.3%) supported on honeycomb monoliths has been investigated. Integral measurements have been performed using continuous flow tubular reactor. No attempt has been made to suppress the reverse reaction. Experimental data have been fitted well by the following reaction model: equation image The estimates obtained for the kinetic parameters have been tested for their physical significance applying the criteria suggested by Boudart et al.
