Angle-resolved M4,5N4,5N4,5 Auger spectra of xenon have been measured near the Xe 3d threshold by using synchrotron radiation excitation. The angular anisotropy parameters extracted from the experimental data generally agree with the recent theoretical results based on multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculations. The angle-resolved measurements have also been employed in order to study the character of the resonance structures below the M4 threshold.
