The sensitivity to relative humidity in the range 0-90% of the polymers -[HC=CR]-n (R=Ph, C13H9O, CH2OH) obtained from monosubstituted acetylenes, and of an organometallic polymer containing intercalated Pt(II) and -C=C-C6H4-C6H4-C=C- moieties; have been investigated. The sensor devices are resistive-type and SAW-type. Fast, reproducible and reversible responses are found for both types of sensors. The chemical structure and surface morphology of the polymers are the most important factors affecting the sensors responses.

Abstract
The sensitivity to relative humidity in the range 0-90% of the polymers -[HC=CR]-n (R=Ph, C13H9O, CH2OH) obtained from monosubstituted acetylenes, and of an organometallic polymer containing intercalated Pt(II) and -C=C-C6H4-C6H4-C=C- moieties; have been investigated. The sensor devices are resistive-type and SAW-type. Fast, reproducible and reversible responses are found for both types of sensors. The chemical structure and surface morphology of the polymers are the most important factors affecting the sensors responses.File in questo prodotto:
