We developed a new compact and massive bulk Er-Yb laser and locked its emission wavelength to various lines of the (C2H2)-C-13 (v(1)+v(3)) rovibrational transition at around 1.54 mum. Peak to peak frequency stability of the locked laser was +/-40 kHz over an observation time of 500 s.

Abstract
