Precision processing of SAR data with large slant range dimension is presented. Three different methods are introduced starting from the exact analytical expression of the system transfer function: image partitioning in small patches; grid deformation in the transformed space via exact interpolation or approximate evaluation. Theoretical results are confirmed by a number of experiments on simulated data.
