The current seat belt anchorage test that is included in all the ROPS Codes need to be improved in order to avoid unnecessary repetitions of tests. Two written proposals were submitted and lengthily discussed during the 2008 meetings of the Technical Working Group on updating the Codes. ? Proposal to amend the seatbelt anchorage performance test: DLG (Germany), ? Seat belt anchorage performance test: Cemagref (France) and Coordinating Center. This document follows the discussions that took place in October during the Lincoln WG meeting, taking into account concerns pointed out by Italy-Turin about cases of seatbelts with or without rolling mechanism.
