Overtone absorption lines of acetylene and oxygen around 12000 and 13000 cm-1 have been examined by the use of tunable diode lasers and the wavelength modulation (WM) spectroscopy with 2nd harmonic detection technique. The collisional broadening and shift coefficients have been obtained. The correct interpretation of the absorption features when detecting the second harmonic signal in the presence of a sloping background is discussed.

Abstract
Overtone absorption lines of acetylene and oxygen around 12000 and 13000 cm-1 have been examined by the use of tunable diode lasers and the wavelength modulation (WM) spectroscopy with 2nd harmonic detection technique. The collisional broadening and shift coefficients have been obtained. The correct interpretation of the absorption features when detecting the second harmonic signal in the presence of a sloping background is discussed.File in questo prodotto:
