Abstract
Integrated optical devices including rare earth ions are attracting an increasing attention. We designed and developed a soda-lime silicate glass matrix, suitable for ion-exchange, and we doped it with different percentages of Er2O3 and Yb2O3. Optical waveguides have then been produced by diluted silver ion exchange. Here we report on their optical characterization, which has been performed by m-line spectroscopy as well by absorption, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy.File in questo prodotto:
