This article examines the possibility of using SfM procedures to build a model to be imported as three-dimensional visual interface in the SIAarch digital platform. Having outlined the main characteristics of the SIAarch program and given that the data search is made through visual interface, the article analyses three specific cases in which the Autodesk 123d Catch software was applied. The model is usually built up with solid modelling tools which are commonly used, such as Autocad 2010 3D, Rhino and others. This article aims to illustrate how to improve the enrichment in details of the 3D model through a simplified procedure. The author describes the modelling of an altar, of the dome and the decorations of the nave vault of Santa Maria del Carmine, Penne, highlightening the 3D model's limits and features and the elaboration timing.
