Transformation of quartz-tridymite in the presence of mineraliser Li2O takes place in two different stages. Namely, at the first stage cristobalite is formed in the melt which is distributed along the quartz grain surface and which results from the reaction between a mineraliser and quartz. Macrokinetics of quartz-tridymite transformation depend on both the quartz grain size and quality of the relative mineraliser. This dependence can be described by an exponential equation in which an exponent depends on the quality of a mineralizer.
