The problem of defining quality requirements to be used in the evaluation of software products is addressed and a quality model is proposed. The model, based on thè ISO/IEC 9126 standard, has been interpreted to fit requirements for Multimedia application and Websites, on thè basis of thè experience gained in thè assessment of software products. Considerations resultìng fiom checking quality characteristics against specific requirements suggest quality profiles for evaluating Multimedia systems.
