A method which performs optimal strucural modifications is here presented. The procedure starts from the knowledge of the experimental frequency response function of the structure and does not involve any previous identification process. The method also predicts the effects of design changes on the FRF and can be used as a sensitivity analysis procedure. Some theoretical and experimental tests have been developed to illustrate the efficiency of the technique.

Abstract
A method which performs optimal strucural modifications is here presented. The procedure starts from the knowledge of the experimental frequency response function of the structure and does not involve any previous identification process. The method also predicts the effects of design changes on the FRF and can be used as a sensitivity analysis procedure. Some theoretical and experimental tests have been developed to illustrate the efficiency of the technique.File in questo prodotto:
