Abstract--Bulk and micromachined magnetostatic wave frequency tunable resonators have been designed, realized and tested from 3 to 6 GHz, obtaining improved electrical performances by using micromachined, membrane supported microstrip configurations. CPW transducers are currently studied to obtain micropackaged configurations of band-pass resonators for C and X band applications, owing to the predicted bandwidth enlargement for the CPW based devices Vs. the microstrip ones. Higher frequencies, up to 26 GHz are considered, coherently with the intrinsic properties and limitations of the magnetic film based resonators.
