A power control algorithm for time division multiple access mobile radio systems was proposed. Its performance was investigated by a complex simulation tool taking several features into account. The algorithm was based on received signal level and carrier to interference measurements. Results of simulation showed improvement in performance in terms of outage and satisfaction probability compared to previous algorithms.
