Abstract
The characteristics of the bedding joints and of the interbeds of two typical Italian formations are discussed, pointing out the effect of extensive tectonic shear deformation on their structure and their mechanical properties. This geotechnical features have sometimes an overwhelming influence on the morphological evolution of the slopes and on the stability of engineering structures.File in questo prodotto:
