Abstract
n this paper we present a modular system for segmentation and classification of brain Magnetic Resonance (MR) images. It consists of two Neural Network architectures, a Self Organizing Map and a Multilayer Perceptron. The objective of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of a Neural Network approach for automatic recognition of anatomic structures in MR images. The system has been useful to discriminate 20 different anatomic classes.File in questo prodotto:
