A Brillouin light scattering study of the fragile glass-former o-terphenyl (OTP) has been performed in the glassy state, between 186 and 245 K. The spectra of density fluctuations have been obtained from direct subtraction of depolarized spectra from polarized ones. A. full spectrum analysis has been performed giving evidence of a vibrational relaxation process at about 6 GHz still active in the glassy state.

Abstract
